“A Wayfinding goldmine”

Green Ridge State Forest is Maryland’s largest contiguous forest, offering over 47,000 acres of land and diverse wildlife. Mainly, the forest is known for its scenic trails and breathtaking views, the forest is a destination for hikers, campers, and nature enthusiasts from across the region. I was given the challenge to design and code new website for Green Ridge State Forest that captures its essence and feel of exploration. The site features full responsiveness, vivid imagery, and detailed resources to help visitors plan their outdoor adventures from trails to observation and hunting.

Design Prompt

“You will play the role of Web Designer creating a website for your client – a destination in Maryland without a current web presence.”

Green Ridge State Forest, despite its significance, lacks a substantial web presence. The park offers biking, kayaking, and wildlife activities on its 80-mile trails. The website provides essential information on licensing, regulations, contact details, and community events.
